The "Loss of Pressure" (LOP) fire suppression system is a crucial component in various fire suppression systems, particularly those using extinguishing gases. It is designed to monitor the pressure in tanks or cylinders containing extinguishing gases within the fire suppression system. Ensuring that the pressure of the extinguishing gas remains stable in the tank is key to ensuring the effective operation of the fire suppression system. The system continuously monitors the pressure, provides warnings if the pressure falls below a safe threshold, and takes automatic emergency actions when the pressure becomes very low.
The LHD (Linear Heat Detection) fire suppression system uses LHD technology to detect temperature changes indicative of a fire. This system monitors cables or heat-detecting elements placed along the area that needs to be monitored. When significant changes are detected, the system activates the appropriate fire suppression system, such as sprinklers or gas suppression, for early fire control, providing passive protection against fire hazards.
